In Leura, visitors will find a wide selection of excellent cafes and restaurants along with some fine boutique shops and art galleries – all necessary attractions to make your stay in the Blue Mountains memorable.
Take the famous cliff drive around Leura and soak in the incredible mountain views, or just a five minute drive from Corner Cottage delivers you to Sublime Point, where the panoramic vies of both the Jamison Valley and the Valley of the Waters await.
If you are feeling energetic you can strike out on one of a multitude of bushwalks that cater for all levels of fitness and age, along the huge sandstone cliffs, or alternatively, down into the valley below, or if you feel like something a little more leisurely, play a round of golf at the renowned Leura Golf Course.
Also close by you will find the Everglades Gardens, a heritage house set on 5 ½ acres of beautiful mountain gardens, or alternatively browse through the gardens of stately homes that offer their gardens for inspection, as well as the famous Toy and Railway Museum.

Getting to the Corner Cottage
- Car
The Corner Cottage is approximately a ninety minute drive from Sydney city.
From the city, follow the signs to Parramatta. The M4 Motorway starts at Strathfield and takes you through to Leura in the Blue Mountains. A clearly marked exit for Leura will be on your left. Please be aware a toll applies on the M4. We will supply you with local directions to the Cottage once a reservation has been made.

- Train
Alternatively, you can travel to Leura by train. Regular trains to the Blue Mountains depart from Central Station and arrive in Leura. Travel time is approximately 2 hours. Outside the train station is a taxi rank. From the station it is less than a five minute ride.
